Visiting Brenda and Family for Halloween and Colton's Ordination

We had a good time visiting Brenda and Family at Halloween and for Colton to get ordained to the office of a deacon. Thank you Brenda, Colton, Kadie for letting us come and enjoy your important day. We watched a basketball game that Colton played in, helped carve jack-0-lanterns, visited the property Brenda had purchased for her new home. Wow! What a beautiful place!!

Here is Colton carving a jack-lantern. He has really learned how to be a pro!

Isn't Kadie cute in her fairy costume?

We went to Wenachee and helped Colton to pick out some new clothes to be a deacon. We can't believe he is already 12. He is such a talented and smart young man. Congratulations Colton. It was an honor for Grandpa to ordain you and to be with your family.

Kadie also got some new clothes that day. This is her new sweater. She is a beautiful girl. She can even do a lot of hair-dos all by herself. Great job Kadie!

Here is Colton on his 12th birthday. He got his favorite cake and dinner. It was a nice day. He can really blow those candles. Look at that mouth---- Wow.

FAMILY VISITING AFTER OUR MISSION

Eric and Rozanne and family came all the way from their new home in Tennessee to welcome us home from our mission, Candace, Aaron & family came from Boise, Mike and his family joined in the fun as well as James. We had lots of fun? making the banana pancakes using our antique banana smasher from the islands, picking the potatoes that Aaron arranged for us, and all working together to get the yard cleaned up for the winter.

Wow! did everyone work hard on that hill flower bed. We pulled out big trees, big shrubs, cut all kinds of weeds, grass, and pruned bushes. It was a two day job. Thank you everyone. Alex, Eric, Dad, Jesikah and mom are in the picture; but everyone helped.

We all had so much fun finding potatoes to store for the winter. We filled up all kinds of boxes and hauled them home in the back of grandpa's pickup. Hayley and Jesikah found this heart potato. They just loved it! They found potato people----and it was a lot of fun.

Alex and Bryce found some great potatoes. They dug with a shovel and really found some great specimans. You can see Alex with his stash here.

Jarem was really having fun smashing the bananas. Grandma and Grandpa really
learned some great banana tricks in the islands. We made muffins and pancakes
